How Travel Tax is Calculated | Practical Example

Suppose you are a standard traveler flying economy class with two family members, also standard travelers:

  • Travel Class: Economy/Business Class
  • Traveler Category: Standard Traveler
  • Number of Travelers: 3

The tax per person for economy class standard travelers is ₱1,620. Thus, the total tax is:

3 × ₱1,620 = ₱4,860

Note: Selecting "Exempt" results in a total tax of ₱0, as exempt travelers are not required to pay.
